Welcome
The Powell River Association for Community Living (PRACL) advocates for full citizenship and inclusion of individuals with a developmental disability. We believe inclusive societies offer the highest quality of life for all community members.
We provide a wide range supports to:
- Children with a developmental delay or who are at risk of developmental delay and their families;
- Children, youth, adults and seniors with developmental disabilities and their families; and
- Adults with acquired brain injury.
Our services support full participation in community and the opportunity to pursue personal interests and dreams.
Our Mission is to:
- Provide high quality, respectful services that are life long if needed;
- Ensure every person has the opportunity to reach their full potential and maximum independence possible; and
- Promote, educate and advocate in the community for the people we serve:
- To ensure their full citizenship; and
- To have friendships and a personal network of unpaid advocates.
PRACL is a grassroots, non-profit society.
